I made a video today explaining my “why” for re-joining the Beachbody coaching community and of course, it saved and posted out of order. I realized, though, I haven’t used this platform in awhile and I think it will be a little bit motivating for me to put my story into words. So, here we go…

Close to 10 years ago, I was in a really tough relationship and was carrying some weight. I will never, ever use a word to describe my body, because every phase of life brings a different version of you, right? Sometimes we are a little stronger, sometimes a little more fragile. Weight doesn’t define us, though. For me, I was worried that the weight I had been carrying around was a void that I was filling and to me, that was unacceptable.

I kept seeing ads for this program called 21 Day Fix and it looked so perfect. 30 minute workouts, a simple portion-based nutrition program and the right to enjoy those extra snacks and treats in moderation. So, I went all in.

For 3 weeks, I promised myself that I would commit. I showed up every day and pressed play on my workout. I sweat through tons of stress and fear. I sweat through a breakup and lots of seasons. I sweat through therapy sessions and personal growth and development. Since that day, I haven’t stopped sweating.

Originally, I signed on as a discount coach which basically means that I had the ability to make fitness my business, but only if I wanted to. I chose nah. I did, however, receive a sweet coach discount.

Fast forward through some more rough relationships, stress, dark days, happy days, love, laughter, parties, birthdays, anniversaries, deaths, births, a pretty serious knee injury which resulted in surgery, recovery and everything in between. To me, you never truly arrive at a destination. You never reach a point where you’re healthy and done with the process, but rather, you make health your lifestyle. You integrate it into your daily routine and you don’t stop when there’s a setback or a season of life where you’re not fully committed.

To me, that’s where I feel passionate about serving as a coach for these programs. I have a career that I love and make an income that allows my family to pay our bills and live comfortable. I am not doing this for money. I really, truly, absolutely just want to help people find a fitness routine that works. I want to help people SAVE money by committing to something that is reasonably priced and completely doable at any age, stage or season of life from the comfort of your own home.

There are so many tiers of workouts available, there are products and supplements for your specific goals (only if you want them) and there are thousands of recipes that have fueled me toward being the healthiest I’ve ever been. Think of cleaner versions of your favorite comfort foods! I want to share all of that with you.

I went back and forth on this because I’ve been sharing my story for years. I’ve shared workout videos, pictures, let you peek into my kitchen to see how I meal prep. But, what if I told you that you could also have all of this if you budgeted and made a reasonable investment once that could cover you for a whole year?

What would you say if you knew you could commit to 20 minutes a day or 1 hour a day if you choose? You could do a yoga/pilates based workout program or a high intensity interval program or you could fuse them both together? What would you say if I told you that you could try our Beachbody On Demand workout membership FREE and stream 14 days of workouts to see if you’d like to commit?

Where is the harm in seeing if what this company has to offer is right for you? I will never tell you that Beachbody is the be all, end all for fitness and nutrition. I will tell you that these workouts serve all types of people with careers, kids and busy schedules. I will tell you that these programs never get boring because they are always giving you new ones. I will tell you that it is possible to release the weight that’s holding you back from living your healthiest life while still enjoying a cupcake on your birthday and a cocktail every Friday.

Please don’t ever let the fear of something new hold you back from making changes to better yourself. As your coach, I get to motivate you, be your cheerleader and fill my cup with sending you free samples and motivation to crush your goals. It’s what I’ve always wanted to do and I am here for it and for you!
